How to get JSON info from API URL and use it as markers on Google Maps Android Studio Kotlin

Published

Good evening, I’m trying to develop an Android application with Kotlin that shows a Google Maps map and displays the electric vehicle chargepoints on it (I’m using Open Charge Map API to do so).

I created the Map as a fragment class MapFragment : Fragment() because I also wanted to create a settings tab, so I read it was better to create fragments.

So I managed to create the map and display It on the Android emulator, but I’m struggling with how to parse the information on the Open Charge Maps API ( https://openchargemap.org/site/develop/api#/ ) and with how to transform that parsed info into markers on the map, so I can show them, like in here:
Chargepoint on Map

I need a lot of help.
